Julie is a born & raised Californian.  She moved to Chicago to attend The School of the Institute of Chicago where she graduated with a degree in Fashion Design. Her leather work is energized by her yearly road trips to Joshua Tree, CA and the materials gathered along the way.  The magic of the desert & the rays of the sun are always embedded deep within her creations as is her love of modern art and design.  Once back in her Chicago studio, she dives into the next body of work!  She loves collaborations and welcomes custom orders---anything from guitar straps to pillows & beyond.  Have an idea?
